Where is the show and where will Artist Alley be located?

New York Comic Con is being held at the Javits Center (655 West 34th Street) in Midtown Manhattan. This year NYCC Artist Alley will be returning to the North Pavilion of the Javits Center.

What are the dates/hours of Artist Alley?

  • Thursday, October 10, 2013 - 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
    (Only open to Press, Professionals, VIPS and fans that purchase a 4-Day Pass.)
  • Friday, October 11, 2013 - 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
    (1 hour past closing of the show floor)
  • Saturday, October 12, 2013 - 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
    1 hour past closing of the show floor)
  • Sunday, October 13, 2013 - 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What is the size of my table and what comes with it?

A full table is 6ft long and comes with 2 chairs and 2 exhibitor badges. A half table is 3ft long and comes with 1 chair and 1 exhibitor badge.

What does my exhibitor badge provide me with?

An exhibitor badge will provide you with the same access as a 4-Day attendee pass, plus access to the show floor before and after hours for set up and break down.

Where do I get my exhibitor badges?

All exhibitor badges must be picked up on site at the Javits in the Crystal Palace. Badges can be picked up starting Tuesday, October 8 at 2:00 PM.

What if I need extra exhibitor badges?

If you have not already purchased additional exhibitor badges, they can be purchased by contacting Katie Enos and the price will be $125; Please note the deadline to purchase additional badges is October 1. You will not be able to purchase additional badges on-site.

How do I update my listing on the NYCC website?

You should have received an email about our online directory tool. Log into the exhibitor dashboard with your personal login information to upload your website image, post your bio, and make any changes you might need to your record.  If you are unsure of your login information please contact me for further details at mnegin@reedexpo.com

When is move in / move out and what are the specific rules regarding that process?

Artist Alley move in will being at 2:00 PM on Tuesday and continue until 6:00 PM. Artists can stay and work on their display after 6:00 PM, but the front doors will close at that time. Move in will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday morning and continue until 6:00 PM. We encourage you to bring your display and product to the building as early as possible in order to help prevent congestion on Wednesday and Thursday. You may begin breaking down your display at 5:01 PM on Sunday, October 13. For rules and regulations regarding move in/out, please see the exhibitor manual.

What are acceptable dimensions for a banner to promote my space/work?

All banners/displays must be free standing, single-sided and only a few inches deep. Please make sure that the tops of all banners/displays are no more than 10ft tall (from the floor) and no more than 6ft wide; please keep in mind that tables are 2.5ft high when measuring your display. Displays on tables need to be inward facing; no artwork should face out towards another creator’s table; displays cannot obstruct the visibility of other tables.

What is the parking situation at the convention center?

There is no on-site parking at the Javits Center. However, there are many parking garages in the vicinity. The average price for parking is between $30-$50 a day and is subject to change depending on the Center’s activity. Check the Javits website for nearby parking garages and directions on how to get to the Center by car or truck.

Is there shuttle bus service to the Javits Center?

Yes, free shuttle bus service to and from the Javits and the Official NYCC Hotels are available on Show days. View the Shuttle Schedule.
