Our friends at Kodansha Comics are excited to be at this year's New York Anime Festival at New York Comic Con, and Guest of Honor Hiro Mashima is very excited. How excited? Mashima and Kodansha will be bringing boxes of limited-edition Fairy Tail items with them all the way from Japan! Giveaways include figures, notebooks, and stickers — and they'll be given away at Mashima's panel and public and VIP signing. How do you sign up?
Mashima Panel
Hiro Mashima will be speaking to fans at 6:30 PM on Friday, October 14 in Room 1A24. At the start of the panel, Kodansha will be distributing and then collecting raffle entry forms. Near the panel's end, Mashima and Kondasha will select lucky attendees to win Fairy Tail prize packages! Simply attend the panel for a chance to win! Add the panel to your agenda!
Public Signing
Hiro Mashima will be holding a public signing at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 15 in Room 1E06. This signing is free, but it is a ticketed event. This means autograph tickets will be distributed first come, first served to fans beginning at 6 AM on Saturday. Tickets will be distributed by the "Autograph Ticket Pick-Up" sign outside the blue doors near the 11th Ave and 35th Street entrance to the Javits. Once you've got your Autograph Ticket, head to Room 1E06 just before 11 AM. Kodansha will be providing free Fairy Tail goods to the first people in line.
VIP Signing
Hiro Mashima will then be hosting a special signing only for Anime Access VIPs. The event is at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 15 — and VIPs will be sent room information. Kodansha is preparing some special giveaways for this signing, but very important for VIPs is that they need to sign up in advance to win these prizes.
