This year, NYCC is teaming up with The New York Public Library to expand our offerings for educators and librarians  by providing them with an exclusive space for panels, networking, and workshops.

NYCC at The New York Public Library will feature a keynote talk from Laurie Halse Anderson (Speak,) and Ngozi Ukazu (Check, Please!) and intimate panel sessions (and a few awesome giveaways and signings) from Boom! Studios, Scholastic, Valiant Entertainment, Image Comics, Udon Entertainment, the French Comics Association, CBC, the ALA, and more! The first 250 attendees to tap their badges in the morning are guaranteed a NYPL goodie bag with items from featured panel organizers.

Hours for NYCC at the NYPL are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM at The New York Public Library's iconic Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, which is located at 476 5th Avenue (enter at the main 5th Avenue entrance.) Complimentary coffee and light refreshments will be offered in the morning and early afternoon, sponsored by Image Comics and Udon Entertainment.

This is a free, ticketed event for librarians, teachers, and educators, which will take place on Thursday, October 5. Attendees should go directly to the library to catch great content and avoid the long lines at the Javits Center on Thursday morning. An NYCC badge valid for Thursday is required for entry. NYCC Professional Badge holders will be given priority access.
