Graphic novels have been called a "gateway drug to literacy," but schools still have large groups of students who don't know how to read them. Join Solution Squad creator and veteran middle school teacher Jim McClain as he guides you step-by-step through a program that will help you to bring even the most reluctant reader into the fold. Attendees will also receive a free PDF slide show, including a digital presentation version of a Solution Squad story that they can use in their library and classroom that will teach kids the basics of reading a comic.
