Professional Registration

If you have already applied and been approved for a Professional Badge for New York Comic Con 2017, congratulations! Here are your next steps:

What Happens Now:

Badges will begin mailing out at the end of August through early September, so if you don't have it yet don't stress! It's still on the way. If you don't receive your badge by September 25 or so, then you can reach out to NYCCPro@reedexpo.com to see what's up.

Once you get your badge in the mail, you'll need to activate your NYCC Badge in order to take part in any pre-show lotteries, badge tapping towers, activations, and more! (It's required, but it'll also give you a better experience at the show. We promise.) New York Comic Con uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) in our badges. This means each NYCC badge contains a personalized microchip and is individually tied to you when you activate the badge to your Fan Verification profile, which you will need to create here, if you do not already have one.

Through your badge activation process, you'll now be able to tap your badge at any towers for standby lines at panels, activations, or exhibitor booths. You'll tap your badge, enjoy your next stop at the show, and then receive a text when it's time to come back to that panel, activation, or booth!  This will help cut down on the time you're waiting in line so you can experience all that NYCC has to offer. Your badge is not just your ticket into the show, but also your access to all the great content going on in the Javits Center and around the city.

Where to Go When You Get to the Javits Center:

Where to Go When You Get to the Javits CenterAs a Professional Badge holder, you're going to want to avoid the main crush of fans heading in each morning. You'll be heading to the Blue Entrance over on 11th Ave and 35th Street.

What You Can Do:

Your Pro Badge gets you into NYCC all four days, (unless you registered only for a complimentary Thursday Professional Badge: that only gets you in on Thursday,) and also grants you priority access to programming at The New York Public Library.

What You Can't Do:

Your Pro Badge does not grant you early entrance, allow you to cut lines, access panels that are at capacity, approach celebrity guests, or harass fans in any way. The NYCC rules and anti-harassment policy still apply to you.
