Assigning and Accepting NYCC Ticket Visual Walkthrough
Fan Verification accounts are strongly recommended. The account provides access to the NYCC 2023 Fan Ver presale and a few other pretty neat perks.

Nope! You will receive an email from ShowClix allowing you to make any updates to your Fan Ver account and confirm you want to carry it over to 2023. Once your account is rolled over to 2023 you'll be eligible to buy NYCC 2023 tickets during the presale or general onsale. If you didn't receive that email or you ignored it, your account will still roll over.
The only fans who do not need to be Fan Verified are kids who will be ages 6-12 at the time of NYCC 2023 and will be using an adult ticket or a Sunday Kids ticket. Make sure in your own Fan Verification account that you check YES when asked if you're purchasing for a kid ages 6-12. Kids 5 and under will be admitted for free to NYCC and no ticket is required.

No, it does not guarantee NYCC tickets or that you will get the NYCC ticket type that you want.
Nah. You can only fill out one Fan Verification account per email address and each fan can only have one account. Anyone who is identified as having multiple Fan Verification accounts or as a known reseller will have their Fan Verification voided.
No problem! You will be able to purchase and assign tickets for anyone regardless if they have a Fan Ver account or not. Your friend will have to create a Fan Ver account before accepting the tickets you purchased and assigned to them.
PRO TIP: to make things easier, make sure your friend Fan Verifies with the email you used to assign them a ticket.
Assigning Tickets
During the Fan Ver Presale and the General Onsale for NYCC, you'll be required to assign each individual ticket during checkout. You will not be able to complete your purchase until all your tickets are assigned to yourself and anyone you are buying for.
If the person you're buying for has a Fan Verification profile, great! Use that email address to assign the ticket to them. PRO TIP: double check that the email address you’re entering is correct. If they have a profile, then they’ll be able log into their Fan Ver Hub in the late afternoon on Sun, June 11 to accept the ticket.
If the person you are buying for doesn't have a Fan Verification profile, no worries! Assign the ticket to their email address and they can create a Fan Verification profile on the afternoon of June 12. PRO TIP: to make things easier, make sure your friend Fan Verifies with the email you used to assign them a ticket.
Did you assign tickets and enter the wrong email address or need to transfer your tickets for a different reason? Here’s how:
Step 1: Login to your Fan Ver hub and click the blue MANAGE NEW YORK COMIC CON 2023 PROFILE
Step 2: Your tickets assigned to you will pop up. Click the blue TRANSFER ITEMS button.
Step 3: Enter the email address of the person you’re transferring tickets to, and check the boxes next to which tickets you want to transfer. Make sure that you type it correctly! Pro-Tip: if they have a Fan Verification profile, make sure to use that email address.
Step 4: Have a transfer to make to another person? Click the blue ANOTHER TRANSFER button. All done with transfers? Click BACK TO PROFILE.
Step 5: When you go back to your profile, you will now see a yellow bar across your profile that says ‘Waiting for EMAIL ADDRESS to accept 1 ticket’. The person you transferred to will receive an email, but feel free to nudge them to make sure they accept it in a timely manner. No NYCC tickets left behind!

Accepting Tickets If You Have a Fan Ver Profile
If a friend was able to buy tickets for you and assign them to your non-Fan Verified email during the presale or onsale, this visual walkthrough is for you!
Step 1: You’ve received an email that looks like the below telling you that your friend transferred tickets to you, now what do you do? Follow along with the rest of my magical guide and allow me to show you the way.
Step 2: If you have a Fan Verification profile, you’ll login to the Fan Ver Hub by clicking the View Transfer link in your email or clicking here. When you login, you’ll see that you have items waiting for you. Click the blue ACCEPT button as seen below.
Step 3: Confirm your ticket(s) transferred properly! Once you do Step 2, you should now see your ticket(s) that you accepted listed in your profile like the below:
Accepting Tickets If You Don’t Have a Fan Ver Profile
If a friend was able to buy tickets for you and assigned the tickets to your non-Fan Verified email during the presale or onsale, this visual walkthrough is for you!
Step 1: You’ve received an email that looks like the below telling you that your friend transferred tickets to you, now what do you do? Follow along with the rest of my magical guide and allow me to show you the way.
Step 2: If you don't have a Fan Verification profile, you can create a profile starting the afternoon of Monday, June 12. On June 12, click the VIEW TRANSFER link in your email. You'll be prompted to create a profile – make sure you use the same email address that your tickets were transferred to!
Step 3: When you login, you’ll see a green alert that you have items waiting for you. Click the REVIEW TO ACCEPT link.
Step 4: A pop up will appear, if all looks correct, click the blue ACCEPT button to finalize the transfer.
Step 5: Confirm your ticket(s) transferred properly! Once you do Step 4, you should now see your ticket(s) that you accepted listed in your profile like the below:
Important Note: if a red pop-up appears that states ‘You cannot accept this transfer because you are not Fan Verified’ - don’t panic! Just make your profile starting June 12.
Taaa-daahhh! You’re all ready to go to NYCC 2023. *Happy dance* We’ll see you October 12-15.
