NYCC Ticket Onsale: Creating a Fan Ver Account to Accept Tickets Assigned to You

During the New York Comic Con onsale, a friend was able to buy tickets for you and assign them to your non-Fan Verified email. In order to accept this ticket, you will have to create a Fan Ver account when it opens on Mon, May 23.

If you don't create a Fan Ver account, you won't be able to participate in any of our drawings for exhibitor exclusives or reserved panel seating or have access to the NYCC 2023 Fan Ver Ticket Presale. Your ticket will just sit in limbo and you'll be able to attend the event, but you won't be able to do any of the extra cool stuff we got goin' on.

To help you with this step, we've included a walkthrough below of what the process will be like. Take a look and make sure you're prepared!

This is the email you will get if someone bought a NYCC ticket for you. Click on the ‘View Transfer’ button.

You will be prompted to create a ShowClix account. Make sure you use the same email that your ticket(s) were assigned to!

You will log into your Fan Ver Hub with your new account and see that tickets are waiting to be accepted.

When you click on ‘Accept’ you will get this error message because you cannot accept tickets until you are Fan Verified. Click on the NYCC2022.com/FanVer link and create your Fan Ver account!

Once you’ve finished creating a Fan Ver account, go back to your Fan Ver Hub and accept the tickets that were assigned to you.

To help you with accepting transfers and managing your NYCC tickets, we've created a walkthrough. Take a look and make sure you're prepared!

We hope that helps! If you have any questions, hit up our customer service superheroes at [email protected].
