Introducing our New York Comic Con 2026 20th Anniversary Theme: Coney Island

Stand clear of the closing doors, please. The next stop is Coney Island. We’re celebrating 20 years of NYCC by partnering with this staple New York institution for our 2026 theme. Two cultural icons coming together to highlight the places where New Yorkers and those visiting have been playing for decades.

We turn crowds into communities and moments into memories, creating a sense of belonging that brings together people from all over to embrace shared passions.

The gasp of the Sideshow. The roar of the Main Stage.
The glow of the Wonder Wheel. The hum of Artist Alley.
Home to the best people and the best people watching.

The second you see the vibrant lights of Luna Park or walk into the Crystal Palace, you're a part of it. You're home.

So, for our NYCC 20th anniversary, we’re bringing them together. Because New York isn’t just where people live. It’s where people come to feel energic, to embrace a sense of wonder, and to discover all our glorious city has to offer. And this year, we’re making it bigger than ever. Step right up and look at everything we’re doing with Coney Island.

What's NYCC Doing at Coney Island?

We’re taking NYCC to the boardwalk!

We are proud to sponsor the 44th Annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade on June 20 (one of New York’s most iconic celebrations of art, creativity, and self-expression). Every year, hundreds of thousands of people show up for it, and you best believe we’re there with them (catch us marching in the parade this year!).

We’re also celebrating this year’s King and Queen: musician and NYC native Jesse Malin, and two-time Grammy winner Rickie Lee Jones.
