NYCC welcomes professionals across the full spectrum of pop culture industries and is happy to provide a Professional badge to approved artists, buyers, creators, editors, educators, librarians, licensors, producers, publishers, tastemakers, retailers, and writers currently working or retired from comics and popular arts. Due to the volume of applications, we cannot provide Professional badges to support staff, such as administrative staff, facilities, IT, operations and others who are not directly involved in the creative process. All employees must apply and will be evaluated on an individual basis.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to an overwhelming amount of applications, NYCC Professional badges are limited and are not guaranteed for all who apply. Receiving a Professional badge in the past does not guarantee you will be approved this year.
Your Professional badge will not get you:
Early access into the building, special access or guaranteed seating
The ability to cut lines
Free access into any events requiring an additional ticket
Access to exhibitor exclusive drawings
PLEASE NOTE: To enter exhibitor exclusive drawings you will need a fan badge. You will have access to panel drawings.
Registration will be open until Monday, July 30, 2021 at 11:59 PM ET.
Professionals who submit by June 25 will hear back about the status of their application before the July 11 Fan Verification on-sale.
Once the NYCC Professional registration period has closed, no late applications will be accepted, due to volume of applicants and limited number of Professional badges available.
There will be NO onsite Professional registration. Should you wish to attend as a professional badge holder, you MUST apply online and complete the full application.
Note: Once your application is approved, you must purchase your Professional badge by Wednesday, August 25. Should you not receive the status of your application by August 4, contact the NYCC Professional Email Inbox.
If your application is approved, you will be prompted by email to complete your registration by selecting either the free Pro Thursday badge or the Pro 4-day badge.
All application decisions are final. NYCC reserves the right to approve or deny all applications. This decision is final and cannot be appealed. You will not be able to submit further information later on if your application is not approved.
Each Professional badge is issued individually and is non-transferable. You may not transfer or sell your NYCC Professional badge and any individuals conducting such behavior will have this badge cancelled and be disqualified from Professional badges at future ReedPOP events.
