The iconic Larry Lieber (the pioneering writer, artist, and creator who helped build the Marvel Universe) is joining us at New York Comic Con!

Larry Lieber is a pioneering writer, artist, and creator who helped build the Marvel Universe, co-creating such icons as Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, and Groot while collaborating with legends like Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko during Marvel’s Silver Age. His landmark contributions include introducing characters in iconic issues like Journey into Mystery #83, Tales of Suspense #39, and Tales to Astonish #27 and #35, as well as helming the celebrated Western series Rawhide Kid and the enduring Spider-Man newspaper strip for decades. At 93, he made a bold leap into fiction with his debut novel, Chirps, a sci-fi tale about a genetically enhanced parakeet exploring themes of identity, belonging, and scientific ethics, earning acclaim for its originality and depth.
