ReedPop is proud to offer fans to New York Comic Con a weekend of professional programming along with the excitement of NYCC! If you are attending as a Professional Retailer, Creator, Librarian, Lawyer, Game Developer or any part of the industry, please join us for four days of content built for you. Most of this programming is accessible by all badge types! On top of that -- will also have quite space for you to take meetings. Welcome Home, Pros.



The New York Public Library’s Center for Educators and Schools (CES)

Join us for a day of programming and professional development for librarians and educators, including curated panels that feature teachers, scholars, and creators. This event is presented in partnership with The New York Public Library's Center for Educators and Schools, an initiative devoted to ensuring educators can make the most of the world-renowned resources of the Library. Thursday October 12, Continuing Teacher & Leader Education (CTLE) Credits

Eligible New York State educators can receive CTLE credit for attending specified panels during NYCC Professional Day. Participants must complete an evaluation form after each session, following instructions from NYPL's Center for Educators and Schools staff. Certificates will be emailed within two weeks of attendance. Email [email protected] with any questions about CTLE credits.

Pop Culture Classroom

Pop Culture Classroom works to inspire a love of learning, increase literacy, celebrate diversity, and build community through the tools of popular culture and the power of self-expression. We provide educators, librarians, and parents with FREE resources to unlock the academic and social-emotional learning potential that lies within the media that kids, teens, and adults already love, such as graphic novels, manga and anime, board games, video games, TTRPGs, cosplay, and sci-fi/fantasy. Visit our table or panel sessions to learn more about our free comics, curricular units, graphic novel teaching guides, the Excellence in Graphic Literature Awards, and more! Or, visit us in the Family HQ on Saturday and Sunday for free and fun arts and crafts activities for the whole family.  

Book Industry Charitable Foundation

The Book Industry Charitable Foundation’s mission is to strengthen the bookselling and comic retailing communities through charitable programs that support employees, owners, and their families. The Foundation was imagined and built by booksellers and proudly continues to be their safety net.  It is our vision to be a caring community of book and comic people.

Lunar Distribution Breakfast

Lunar Distribution will be holding an annual breakfast for Comic Book Store Retailers. This breakfast will have news, updates and industry talks about the Comic Book Industry. This will be held in the River Pavilion @NYCC and you must sign up in advance to be in attendance.

Pro Lounge is open to Pro Badges only.

Looking for a private place to converse with other professionals? Need to take a break from all the handshaking on the Show Floor? In need of an area to co-work or simply charge your phone? Visit the Pro Lounge in River Pavilion! Kick back and relax, it’s pros only in this area. Small meeting rooms will be available on a first-come first served basis.
