Whether you’re hardcore or casual, digital or analog – we have something for you. Featuring organized play, tournaments and free-play for all the hottest new games, retro favorites and can’t-miss classics, Side Quest is the perfect place to take a short rest. It’s dangerous to go alone so grab your friends and head on over because we’re ready to play!
Sparrow’s Nest Studio
Join Sparrow's Nest Studio and the United States Professional Mahjong League to experience one of the most popular games in the world. Mahjong is a fast-paced game that combines luck, strategy, and most importantly -- fun! If you're new to the game, our experienced instructors can get you started; or if you already have a crew, feel free to grab a table and hit the tiles. Come visit our special guests, including visiting players from the Japan Professional Mahjong League, and learn about our educational programs hosted at our recently-opened mahjong studio in Midtown Manhattan. And if you're feeling competitive, we'll be running a rolling tournament throughout the convention with prizes available!
Pro-Play Games
Pro-Play Games will be offering weekend long TCG play experiences including popular titles like: Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Lorcana, One Piece, and Star Wars Unlimited! Pre-registration for these events can all be made on https://ppgeventmanagement.com/nycc or on site at the registration booth located in Hall 1-E! While you're at it, swing by the Pro-Play Games main show floor booth for a free pack of TCG cards (as supplies last!)

Dungeons "Welcome to D&D at NYCC brought to you by Baldman Games. Come join us in Hall 1E for all the D&D you can handle from open to close. From a quick 15-20 minute Demo to a full 90 minute Learn to Play - we have you covered. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of D&D? Join us for the exclusive 50th celebration adventure "Uni and the Hunt for the Lost Horn". You can fill an entire day with D&D at the show and we cannot wait to see you at the table."

Join Thunderforge Studios for the NYCC Paint-and-Take Arena! Where you can paint miniatures from some of your favorite games and publishers! Miniatures from Wizkids Gale Force Nine, Wyrd, CMON Games, Steamforged Games, and many more will be available. First mini is free to all ticketed attendees while supplies last. We look forward to sling paint with you all weekend long and oh yeah, we will be giving away some really awesome prizes as well!
